Can I help others by planning my own moments with people I care?

Yes, indeed! The places you mark go into the main map where others can find it.
"Oh! are my places so public?"
Quite the contrary. Usually we show a places name based on an average of 10 name entries given to it.
This means private places like homes are unlikely to show. With time, we'll increse this quota for more safety.
You can mark any public interesting place and have moments there.
By spending moments there, you help others new to the area find that interesting place.

Amanda got an invite to ilikeplaces from Lilly her best friend. She immediately logged in and set her name and profile photo. She was leaving to Cudillero in a week. Down Town had a way of organizing great moments!

The first thing Amanda did was to search Cudillero on the home page.

The map immediately focused on Cudillero, a lovely town in Spain. She also noticed several markers pop up on the map. They had numbers on them. She assumed the numbers were based on popularity of each place in Cudillero. She also try the "Show Pics" button. As the images appeared, "Wow!" She thought, "There are plenty of pretty places in Cudillero!".

As Amanda was staying at Hotel El Pescador, she clicked on it.
